March 2008 Show
On March 27 we featured EFF President Bob Williams as he gave us his perspective on the 2008 Legislative Session. Bob summarized his view of the session with this statement:
 
“In the 32 years I have been following or participating in the legislature, this was the ugliest session I have seen in terms of legislative arrogance, attacks on individual liberty, fiscal insanity, and big government proposals.”
 
Bob discussed the attacks on liberty and the initiative power, private property rights and property taxes, the supplemental budget, transportation, performance audits, and budget transparency.

February 2008 Show
On February 28, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. we held our 2nd Freedom Matters episode. We looked at the state of transportation (including the State Ferry System and Port of Seattle) with Lynn Harsh of the Evergreen Freedom Foundation, Michael Ennis of the Washington Policy Center, and David Goldstein a former KIRO radio talk show host and political blogger.
