Dear SPN member:

Recent member surveys have requested SPN services as a policy information clearinghouse. We are pleased to announce SPN's State Fiscal Policy Exchange, a weekly update and exchange of recent tax and budget trends, breakthroughs and pitfalls in the states. Bob Williams and the Evergreen Freedom Foundation will administrate the Exchange since they are frequently called upon for tax and budget strategies by other state-based groups.

The Exchange will utilize several existing online weekly tax/budget updates, but will also call upon the state think tanks to provide their own updates and information as news arises in their states, hence the "exchange" - we want to hear from you. The Exchange will not only publicize best practices and winning ideas, but through the Exchange we hope to warn other state groups of anti-market, pro-tax and spend legislation brewing in other states.
