Court again tells disclosure
panel it must disclose

For the second time in two weeks, the state Public Disclosure Commission was told by a judge yesterday that it was violating state law by refusing to release documents that would show how the campaign watchdog does it business...

"Everyone looks to the PDC as a model, but what is that model? When in doubt stiff the public and make them go to court," James Johnson, attorney for Evergreen Freedom Foundation, said after the ruling...

The Evergreen Freedom Foundation had filed complaints with the disclosure commission alleging that the teachers union had subverted campaign spending laws and illegally used union dues to finance campaigns...

Earlier this year (Evergreen Freedom Foundation President Bob) Williams filed public records request for "all documents, records of contacts, correspondence, and meeting records related to the preparation of the agreement and the guidelines."
